Pretty disappointed that this has been wasted on a beautifully done film but with lack of information on characters. As with the storyline, you do get to a point where scenes were dragging on and you just had enough so i stop mid way towards the film. Also why did Maquia's hair transformed into a brown head in the mid way of the film and not a blond? Who was really Leilia's husband and what did he want her for? I mean maybe these questions were answered and that I am dumb but I felt there just wasn't much clarity here on most of the characters. I mean, I would've loved to have gotten to know the dragons in this anime instead of which, they had the red infection that never really was talked about. However I felt we were given a film with underdeveloped characters as well as a confusing. The first time I heard about this film was from The Anime Man who thought was a pretty beautiful anime movie which I totally agree on his word.
