Well I can assure you that the full version has more support, and although we had a bout of white noise issues in 8.0.3 cs 1, a cs2 update cured the problem. Would like to invest in the full version but if this sort of shortcoming is persistant, it's tough to justify buying another version of Pro Tools when the introductory version doesn't appear to work properly. I always make sure that all other playback devices are not selected and that the playback for the Mobile-Pre is set as default playback and record device. I have tried switching between Mixing and Instrument inputs with that helping only once. In all instances, if I close Pro Tools SE and restart they seem to go away, temporarily. Occasional extreme distortion on playback and during record (not always hearing white noise and/or distorted sound, but during every session one or both occur) (Happens on the instrument track with an instrument or Microphone input on from of Moblie Pre)
